GO-TO Guide: Iron Fork, Ode to the Old Fashioned, Yoga at Vizcaya, Sam Adams Octoberfest 2017

It’s officially fall and time for pumpkin-spice EVERYTHING. But even as we giddily line up at Starbs for our extra hot PSL, we can’t help but think about the upcoming holidays and how we’re still single AF. It’s at this moment when we think to ourselves, “I would like to find someone to cuddle during the cold slightly less hot Miami nights, kiss at midnight on New Years, but dump before Valentine’s Day.” Yep, cuffing season is upon us, people, and we’re on the prowl this weekend for the perfect partner.

Iron Fork

Calling all foodies! One of our fav events of the year is back and better than ever. With over 50 participating restaurants like Pubbelly Sushi, Tacology, Meat Market Miami, Toro Toro, Bagatelle, and so many more, the lineup of tastings at Iron Fork is sure to impress. This year’s Chef Competition will go down between Chef Brian Nasajon of Beaker & Gray and Chef Santiago Gomez of Tacology. The winner will take home the coveted Iron Fork Skillet. Come hungry people, because we about to get #ForkedUp

Ode to the Old Fashioned

One of our biggest fears in life is falling for a guy who would order a girly martini over an old fashioned–Dad, would not approve. We’re on the prowl this Friday as we take on the VIP Cocktail Crawl. INDULGE Editor in Chief, Evan Benn and the Fontainebleau master mixologists create custom-crafted cocktails and their top-shelf takes on the classic Old Fashioned.  So get exclusive behind the scenes access at this crafty event ‘cause we’re ready to cuff one that can kick it with pops.

Yoga at Vizcaya

After a long week, we’ve still got 99 problems but, yoga helps us ignore all of them. This Saturday morning, catch us at Miami’s most scenic and historic spot, Vizcaya, for some good views and a good stretch.  Yoga is our favorite way to feel like we’ve actually worked out before we head to an Octoberfest party for a full day of drinking. #Namaslay

    A martini is girly?

Not that I’m a fan of guy vs girly drink stigmas…but even if you wanted to define a guy drink…its generally strictly liquors without many added ingredients or liqueurs…

i.e. Old Fashioned, Martini, Negroni, Whiskey Sour, Manhattan, Gin & Tonic, Rob Roy…shall I go on?

Any food blogger should know this..
